What a good shot! These things kind of scare me a little, especially when I’m with the Monk. I’ve heard of little dogs who were picked up and carried off by hawks (don’t know if that’s true, and I imagine the Monk is far too heavy for a bird to scoop him up, but it never hurts to be on guard!)

The markings on the stomach of the bird are unique. Pretty, of course. I rarely see any bird this close up.
