  1. Lovely! Reminds me somewhat of the Alphonse Mucha Art Nouveau show I attended recently. Is Eugene Grasset of the same period, I wonder? I’ll have to Google, but right now I must run! Good to be back in the blogging world and to “see” you, Barbara! <3

      1. My grandmother was a fan of Art Nouveau. Her wedding picture frame was Art Nouveau, as well as her dining room table. But much of the furniture in her inherited house was Victorian and I suspect she felt kind of stuck with those pieces.

I am happy to see you back in the blogging world, too, Timi! 🙂

    1. I do hope you had snow for your Christmas in Sweden, Tiny! We had snow for a couple of our celebrations. 🙂 A blizzard cancelled a visit from our daughter and her family. Their flight was diverted…

      1. So sorry to hear about the blizzard and the missed visit. I did see snow outside the city when I arrived, but we did not get any more after I arrived. It was lovely to be “back home” nevertheless.

    1. Hi Kathy! December was a quiet month, healing from the surgery and enjoying visits from family and friends. Turns out winter and recuperation work well together. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Val! I was okay but not quite up to blogging yet. It hurt too much to sit up at the table, but lying in the recliner watching TV and movies for six weeks was way more comfortable. Now my pelvis is feeling good and healed again. 🙂
