my turn

11.19.17 ~ Katherine walking in Ireland ♡

For all the products making claims, exercise may be the only miracle cure for both physical and mental health.

So, after so many years of Tim’s health problems (2007 – heart attack followed by triple by-pass surgery ~ six years of diverticulitis attacks followed by a sigmoid colon resection last January) it looks like it’s my turn for surgery, a hysterectomy. My uterus is full of pre-cancerous cells. Sigh. After spending 26 years wondering if I might get breast cancer like my mother it was a surprise to discover that it is my womb in danger.

Surgery tomorrow. One night in the hospital. If all goes as planned I will be home Wednesday in time to watch the first episode of season 5 of Vikings. 🙂 Then we can plan our trip to Ireland! I cannot wait to take a very long walk with my granddaughter ~ I miss her so much!

  1. I’m sorry to hear about your surgery, but I hope everything goes well and there’s no more trouble 🤗 hugs to you , dear Barbara!!

    1. Thank you, dear Sonali! The doctor doesn’t anticipate any further problems so I’m sure this will all be behind me very soon. 🙂

  2. Barbara, (((Hugs and Healing))) yes continued health is through movement and eating properly, I would also love to suggest some essential oils to help with the different area’s of wellness. Love to you and Tim…

    1. Thank you, Jeff! My diet is good but I’m not getting enough exercise. I’ve learned that “unopposed estrogen” triggers these endometrial cell changes. I will have to work hard to get rid of these fat cells which are manufacturing all this excess estrogen! Please do suggest some essential oils ~ I am open to many avenues of healing. *hugs* and ♡ to you, too.

      1. Barbara, I am glad to offer you this opportunity. It may be a a few days from now, my sister goes into surgery tomorrow morning to remove a lymphoma on her brain, so things will be a bit off schedule. What is the best way to communicate with your email, etc.?

    1. Thank you, dear Kathy! It is a blessing and a welcome distraction to have the possibility of hugging Katherine again on the horizon. 🙂 Wishing you peace and delight as you return to your blogging. I’ve missed you. ♡
