Cuties! I saw a deer yesterday too and regret not having a photo. I went on a hike – Peaked Mountain in Monson, perhaps you know this spot too with all the small world commonalities we have found lately? – with some teacher friends and all of a sudden a male deer appeared on the side of the trail so close to us we could’ve touched him. He stopped and stared at us while we stared at him. Not one of us had a phone at the ready to take a photo and I think none of us wanted to make the sudden move to take a photo and possibly startle him. We enjoyed this moment until he decided it was time to run away into the woods.
