I didn’t get a chance to watch the encounter but I hear it went much better for Zelensky this time. And he had a lot of moral support! 💙 Slava Ukraini! 🌻
Zelensky did look like he was feeling emotionally strong and was very much supported by all the European Leaders at the table. Trump behaved; not because he supports Ukraine, but because Trump was out numbered at the table; one to seven.
There was no rolling out the red carpet or air force flyover ceremony for Zelensky as Trump did for Putin that I found disgusting.
Zelensky has more than moral support from the European Leaders as they also are financially funding him for protection of their own countries against Putin’s aggressive behavior and Putin’s goal to take back the USSR land and all the people currently living there. This is sadly what I see.
It’s what I see, too, Teri. Glaringly obvious. Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in exchange for security assurances, yet Russia has invaded twice since then. Why should Ukraine give up anything for so-called security guarantees now?
I glad that you see the same as I do. I certainly hope that Zelensky doesn’t give up anything, too. Yet, I fear that most people disagree with us. 🫤

Ah, sunflowers. A favorite of mine. One of my favorite photos I ever took was a sunflower field with golden sunshine. But they also remind me that the end of summer and the start of school is near.
