I like sunflowers, can’t grow them here, but appreciate their beauty and meaning. Wonderful photo.
Thank you, Ally. I do remember you saying that you can’t grow sunflowers where you are. Confession: this one is in a store-bought bouquet, a gift, but it caught my fancy, and with this heat wave it doesn’t look like I will be going outside to take pictures of anything any time soon!

I love sunflowers. They remind me of my younger daughter with an August birthday, they were a favorite of hers as a child.
