Month of August — covered with foam is the beach;
Blithesome the bee, full the hive;
Better the work of the sickle than the bow.

Great pic, Barbara! Happy August
Thank you, Frank! Happy August!
Dinnertime!! This busy little guy has a smorgasbord to choose from, now that August has arrived.
So many sunflowers, so little time! When the bees are full the cows are the next diners in line.
The perfect verse to serenade the arrival of August and a great way to illustrate the expression “busy as a bee!”
Thank you, Linda!
Bees do seem to have a cheerful disposition as they go about their busyness.
The poem is lovely and I’m sure you know how I feel about the Bee!
Happy August!
Thank you!
Hats off to busy bees everywhere, especially you, Suz!

This is a fabulous composition, Barbara! Yay for the busy bees!
