    1. Thank you, Kathy! My weekend was warm and wonderful, not humid and sticky as it often is here. *hugs*

  1. And to think I bought my last bunch of roses last weekend, as our warm weather is overtaken by the cool. A big welcome to your summer, Barbara. 🙂

    1. Oh Joanne, my roses are just starting to bloom! I think of you often, my friend on the opposite side of the world – when I’m getting ready for bed I know your day is just getting started, and when summer comes here, winter comes to you. 🙂

  2. What an unusual painting. Reminds me more of Autumn than Summer…. there’s something chilly about it. I’m always fascinated by your choice of images.

    1. It is fascinating how a painting can be interpreted in so many different ways. To me, the color blue and the daisy-like flowers seem summery, but I can see a little autumn in the grains. Perhaps late summer? I feel like this is what I might see if I should lie down in a meadow on a summer evening.

    1. Oh my, thank you for your lovely comment, Diane! Sorry I didn’t catch it sooner. 🙂 *hugs*
